Frequent visitors to the isif.asia website may have noticed in recent days that the domain now redirects to the apnic.foundation website.
The ISIF Asia website predates the establishment of the Foundation, and as part of the Foundation corporate communications, it was decided in 2022 to move isif.asia as a section on the new Foundation website launched in 2023.
The process to map the ISIF Asia content, define a new structure and development started right after, and now as changes are completed, the last step to decommission the website has been completed.
As part of the changes, the projects that were previously recorded on the ISIF Asia website are now available on the Foundation along with all other projects funded or directly implemented by the Foundation. Projects can now be searched via filters such as year of commencement, and economy. Take a look!
Some of the historical information about ISIF Asia is available from the ISIF Asia sub-menu, along with all the information about how to apply. With its 16 years of history – and being the longest-running program of its kind in the region – ISIF Asia remains the Foundation’s main funding mechanism to support community efforts in Internet development.
