Project Complete! Deploying IPv6 in Yap FSM

iBoom! has in recent years been working hard to connect the island of Yap in Micronesia with broadband and it’s been a tricky process. Along the way they discovered that to use the submarine cable infrastructure, they would also need to build core infrastructure in Guam. In all of this work, their IPv4 allocation was getting all used up.
Looking forward, they decided that IPv6 was the only realistic path forward that would give them room to grow.

A recent ISIF Asia IPv6 Deployment Grant helped them kickstart this transition which is still underway. More information is available, including a detailed technical report, on the project page.
