The Foundation is kicking off another great year of the Switch! project!
Around 125 out of the 150 women and gender diverse Internet professionals participating in the 2024 Switch project joined a welcome session last night. They came from all six of the participating economies: Cambodia, Laos, the Philippines, Thailand, Timor Leste and Viet Nam.
The event introduced APNIC and the Foundation, gave some examples from the 88 training providers we work with, and demonstrated the Professional Development App used by the project. The event had full live interpretation in all local languages covered by the project (except Tagalog). AI generated transcripts were enabled by Zoom supported languages.
