FCA: APrIGF and PacIGF Fellowships and logistics support

The aim of the Asia Pacific Regional Internet Governance Forum (APrIGF) Fellowships is to bring diversity into the Internet Governance community by fostering the participation of underrepresented communities in the Internet Governance discussions. Through the program, Fellows can develop a greater understanding of pressing and emerging Internet Governance issues in the Asia-Pacific region and globally, and network with peers from diverse Internet Governance fields in a face-to-face manner.
In 2023, the APrIGF event was held in Brisbane, Australia, in conjunction with the Pacific Internet Governance Forum (PacIGF). There were technical fellowships for people from around the region, as well as PacIGF fellowships for attendees from the Pacific.
The event included a dedicated session for fellows to present their learnings at the APrIGF to the public onsite, including the online audience.
This funding joined contributions from other organizations including APNIC, to support the following people to attend the two co-located conferences:
